How long does the treatment take?

Eyebrow Feathering, Eyebrow Powder, Full Blend Lips and Eyeliner treatments take between 1-2 hours. Each Cosmetic Tattoo appointment involves a consultation which allows you time to ask questions and decide preferred shape prior to the tattooing process beginning. The treatment itself takes approximately 60 minutes.

Does it hurt?

Each client will vary with their experience. Common feedback received is that it has the sensation of scratching. Once the area is numbed effectively the client will feel very little.

A topical numbing gel will be applied to the treatment area upon arrival to your appointment. This gel activates in 25 minutes and then we start the treatment. A numbing cream will also be applied during the process.

How long will it last?

There is no definitive answer to this question. Whilst we can give you an approximate time frame there are some variables. Exposure to sun – the more time you spend in the sun the tattoo can fade faster. It’s best to protect your tattoo with appropriate sun protection.
Pigment colour – darker pigments last longer than light pigments.
Aftercare product use – once completely healed the continued use of aftercare oil (brows only) will prolong the tattoo life.
– Eyebrow feathering 18 months - 2 years
– Eyebrow powder 3-5 years
– Eyeliner 5 years
– Lips 5 years

What pigment is used and where is it from?

All pigment used for cosmetic tattooing is from the US. The brand is Li Pigments.

Can I get a tattoo while pregnant or breastfeeding?

No, it is advised to wait until you’re not pregnant or breastfeeding.

How long does the healing process take?

Within 21-28 days the area will be completely healed.

What is the difference between powder fill eyebrows and feathering/microstroke eyebrows?

Powder fill eyebrows give a more solid, defined brow using a small tattoo gun that injects pigment into the skin. Feathering/microstroke eyebrows give a natural effect using a modern technique and small implement making a hairstroke shape. This technique allows the artist to build your brows to deliver a hair look appearance. Options can be discussed upon booking your appointment.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes, to ensure we can accommodate all clients’ needs we have a cancellation policy in place. For all cosmetic tattoo treatments a deposit of $100 is required to secure your appointment. You can reschedule or cancel your appointment with a minimum 24 hours notice of your appointment. If any changes are made within 24 hours of your appointment the deposit is non-refundable.
